i watched a video with a guy who compared this to Titus Andronicus, and how the people loved the play but the critics hated it. he compared it because HE hated the episode, because he thought the message wasn't against war. and that's why he hated it, because it didn't mesh well with what the books are about. i thought it was brilliant in how the episode was constructed. the filming, the score... such good television. i also thought it was seriously f**k up stuff going on
