i'm having a hard time envisioning a legitimate scenario that is likely to happen that would swing trumps immense unfavorability ratings among pretty much every demographic.

The general election is going to be something out of a 3rd world dictatorship.
Our dear leader 24-7 up until the day of the vote and although the final tally wont be 100% for her, it might as well be. I also wouldnt rule out that the tally finishes with a huge Clinton win so that she can sling the "mandate" word every chance a camera is focused on her.
If there is a debate at all there will be only one, and it will be a mockery to the word debate.
Tip of the day: Buy guns and ammo, guaranteed to beat any investment instrument available in the next 6-18 months.
