The polling isn't that worrying. Clinton is bottoming over the email idiocy. She'll get the usual boost from the convention. The fundamental issues with both of these dipshits are unchanged.

If she starts getting steamrolled in debates, with a loudmouth Trump just talking over here and ad hom-ing her and she looses her cool or looks weak...then we're f**k.

But...she's an old hand at this shit and Trump is nothing, having never even held an elected office. She could even benefit from being "bullied" by big mean male Trump.

All Trump has to do is go after her for shit that, for some reason, was largely allowed to slide.

Guys, can we make a pledge here? To not use "nationwide polls" to try to predict who will win this thing, how they are doing, etc.? As we've seen in the past, the "national vote" is meaningless. It doesn't matter if Hillary or You-Know-Who has 51% of the popular vote. Only the electoral college matters. And, what do those maps say today?

I have no bias here, as I really don't like either one. I did this search, not knowing how it would turn out. And, I'm not sure if I'm glad that HRC has a lead, or dismayed. However, the only map that I saw that had You-Know-Who pulling even with HRC in electoral votes was put together by . . . Rush Limbaugh. So . . .

The email line of attack is very strong. Bosnia? Meh. It's from a decade ago and she can just provide the same bullshit excuse she did a decade ago. I doubt that will resonate much, and people who are turned off by lying aren't going to flock to Trump who lies like he breaths.

The Clinton Foundation corruption allegations are somewhat involved. If Trump can find a way to effectively and concisely communicate them, perhaps some of the allegations land. But he's so terrible at any communication beyond one liners I'm not sure he's up for the task. There's also the issue that Republicans have spent 20 years going after the Clintons. People get exhausted of just seeing smoke and no fire. She's vulnerable on it, but the circumstances (a poor communicator for an opponent and voter fatigue) make it challenging to have that stick.

Honestly who cares that she gave speeches at big financial institutions? Maybe I'm out of touch on that one, but giving speeches doesn't seem that controversial to me. The simpleton masses may hear GS and have a negative reflexive reaction though so we'll see.

I'm intrigued to see how the debates go. If Trump is pinned down on substantive policy points he's completely f**k, if HRC stumbles off script (as you rightly noted) she's in trouble. God it's going to be ugly.
