featured articles with a read more link that would take people to the site. have a series of uniform tags for each post like "politics, political forum, news" etc.

I liked you on Facebook. Was disappointed to see no real content. Maybe take the topics from the Front Page News board, and then throw in some comments users made that are decent. Start generating interest. And be wary of expanding into different social media platforms without really going hard on any one or two.

I wish I had the time to do all of these social networking sites. Its possible we'll have a moderator or maybe VIP take over some of this if they want to do it. I was going to start posting a few things every day and even had twitter up all day long at the office but I've just been entirely too busy to watch the feeds come in and pick up interesting topics for discussion. I started a tumblr account but haven't done anything with it yet. Wasn't really sure where to go with it to be honest. I was hoping we could have some opinion pieces but then I remembered Quell trying to do that and no one was really interested.

Maybe we can do some contests with Tshirt giveaways or something.

i think there's a program that lets you post things on multiple social networks at once. i know day9 of starcraft fame used it a lot.
