You guys.
"How can you possibly stand by Trump after this?!"
disavows
"Why did you choose this to cut ties?!"
In truth, this should not have been a factor in Trump's viability. He should never have been viable in the first place. And in truth, if instead of Trump, you had a guy who was decisively the best person for the job running on the best platform, and this video came out, I'm not sure it would be a dealbreaker to me. At the end of the day, we have had good presidents who were shitty people and we will again. When our two party system is churning out presidential nominees who both have more than 65% disapproval ratings and their platforms are assumed to be inconsequential because everyone expects Congress to obstruct any attempt at a legislative agenda, I would prioritize someone who can actually restore some semblance of credible governance any day regardless of creepy perviness behind closed doors. If we had two candidates with good pedigree and platforms, then I give some bonus points to the less creepy one.
And before Dylan comes in here huffing and puffing; yes, Clinton is the best viable option and is the only one with an actual substantive policy agenda. So I'll vote for her, but not with much enthusiasm or high hope, since I don't think it will be humanly possible for her to get any cooperation from Congress on re-establishing a baseline of just being a reasonably functional government. I'm not thrilled about voting for her because I think on some key items, left leaning millennials should not be encouraging the stubborn direction of the Democratic Party. That being said, for the far left who want to vote for Stein, we should also not be encouraging top-to-bottom incompetency, which is all you can call the Greens. The Green Party, lead by Jill Stein who failed to even make a blip after a very high number of left leaning Democrats walked away from this year's primary contest disgusted and angry. Best political gift ever handed to the Greens and they achieved absolutely nothing with it. There's a reason why Bernie Sanders became a household name in the Democratic party in the course of one year while Jill Stein and her predecessors have been running on the same shit for over a decade but will be on the cutting room floor of future wikipedia article source citations. It's because the Green Party isn't a real party. And I don't just mean like it isn't one of the two major parties. I mean even compared to what an active third party is supposed to look like, the Greens are a f**k joke.
And if you're voting for Gary Johnson, I told you 4 years ago and 8 years ago that libertarians are deranged, and Gary Johnson has admitted himself that he is a craven imbecile, so f**k you, go vote for Johnson. Reality will never sway your dogmatic zealotry, just like the hard core Trump lovers.
go ahead. keep screaming "Shut The f**k Up " at me. it only makes my opinions Worse
