Galt, we don't really know what they were doing back then for sport in the early midde ages, outside of a few images and some small writings.

But most of the writings from the 12-20 centuries dictate using their feet and even having Kings ban it to stop people from doing it. Really gotta stretch it here to state current football is because of it's past, because most of the written and verified past dictates its from using their feet instead of hands.

i mean the words "human" and "man" don't come from the same root word. "human" comes from the proto-indo-european "ghomon" meaning "earthy being" whereas man came from "manus" meaning "a male". just because you think a word might have came from x doesn't mean you know what you're talking about as you call other people ignorant

the writings indicate they used both hands and feet. don't make shit up. and in the 1826 writing i stated it explicitly said feet couldn't be used in football. the point is the game wasn't named "foot-ball" for playing ball by striking on the foot. it was named that for playing ball while running around on your feet
