if you go to the 5-8 or to Matt's, you'll go to one of the places that claims to have invented the juicy lucy. the juicy lucy of course is minnesota's sandwich gift to the world, the cheeseburger with molten hot cheese inside the patty. you can get variations -- my personal favorite is the merriam park blucy at the blue door, which is blue cheese, garlic, and bacon inside, and red currant jelly spread on top of the patty -- but a "juicy lucy" has american cheese on the inside. that's how it is. and you can get that at the 5-8 or Matt's
