While it's certainly more anecdotal and not a proper sample size, I've seen some interviews they've been doing this week with Trump voters (midwest I believe) and a surprising amount said they voted for Obama in the last two elections. A couple were staunch Bernie supporters who couldn't vote for HRC, but they've all been wanting some kind of ethereal "change" for the last decade.

If a Republican asked a successful woman if she would be in that seat if she wasn't wealthy, he would of been viewed as a sexist pig.
