So you think that National Gallery of Art, Smithsonian, US Holocaust Memorial, etc, that are located in DC and are the face of our Nation (for visitors and citizens alike) can be funded on the State level? I agree that accountability is a major issue, but do you think blanket cutting of these programs as Trump is proposing will actually do that?
I would applaud his stance if he started at the very top (Defense, SS, etc) where the serious national debt is incurred, but he's a mouth breather so he'll go after the arty stuff he doesn't care about. This is grandstanding on low hanging fruit for Trump, but he has neither the inclination nor attention to detail to go after programs that are the real problems.
Tell me I'm wrong.
