In all fairness, it is entirely impossible to say how the popular vote would have looked if we didn't have an electoral college. Both candidates would have campaigned differently. Well, maybe only Trump would have, since Clinton basically campaigned as if she wasn't aware of the EC for some reason.

As a modern day bad example of majority always winning, Look north.

Turdeau got 39% of the vote. He's driven the country a great deal closer to unsustainable debt. He's doing basically what ever the hell he wants and he is one self entitled little bitch.

Kathleen Wynne has done even worse. She's made Ontario the most indebted sub sovereign state, per capita, in the world. If the dominoes fall in north America, ontario will be 2nd with Puerto Rico first. Maybe they switch. Look at the ukraine. How did putin get elected?

wynne, the ugliest head of any state ever, can rule ontario by carrying 2 cities. And just flip off the rest of the province.Which is what a few states would be doing had clinton won with a majority vote.

Disclaimer, I hate clinton, but don't know about trump. His wall is a bad idea and economic isolationism leads to Argentina style states. However, the republican, democratic, D.C., wall street and msm establishments all needed toppling.
