Of the 62 million who voted for him, I'm betting that at least 58-60 million would do so again, regardless of his actions. However, there is enough slip in his numbers that a strong challenger should be able to put him away. What remains to be seen is who that challenger is. Bernie is too old, Clinton is finished, I doubt Biden is going to want to do it, etc. Ideally you'll get somebody young and charismatic, who is strongly progressive and anti-corruption. But not sure who that is. If the Democrats run a straight establishment figure, they will lose again. My only real hope is that Biden steps up and does it... while he is establishment, his swagger is unmatched.
I think Dylan is correct that there is a good chance he will be President again in four years time.
On a somewhat related note (more related to earlier discussions), I had a chat today with a woman who believes strongly that our feminist Prime Minister who supports the legalization of marijuana is actually a closet Muslim. On request, she sent me many articles posted to The Rebel, which is Canada's version of Breitbart. There I learned that he had participated in a prayer at a mosque, and had many other interactions with Muslims, and has even hired some of them to fill government positions. To people like this, Canada is literally on the verge of collapse, and there are secret Muslim extremists hiding behind every tree and shrub. It is depressing, but on the other hand, I take comfort in the idea that these ideas come largely from older people, with only the occasional young radical.
