assange and snowden have such fundamental different takes on all of this.
snowden published what he did (and through news organizations) because he values privacy. his intent was to fix what is broken.
assange publishes what he does because he disdains the entire concept of privacy. assange is contemptible while snowden is a patriot, and perversely trump has gotten his acolytes to recite the opposite saying things like "secrecy is dead"
