lmao if Assad gave an inch he would have been lynched on the street. You f**k beta you don't understand power at all. The crazy mohammeds would literally commit genocide against the alawites if Assad fell from power, and they all know this which is why they have fought so fiercely. If anything, Assad should have been MORE ruthless in cracking down on the protesters. Slaughter them all before they were able to capture heavy arms and gain international support. Even saying that, Assad has played his cards better than anyone else in the region. Where is Qaddafi today? Dead. Mubarak? Prison. Assad? Still in power and looking like he will hold on to the entire damn country and come out of the war stronger than ever.
