I don't think he was incorrect though. The use of gas Chambers to execute prisoners in The united States wasn't using "chemical weapons". It was execution by chemicals. He was referring only to the use of weapons of war, which Hitler did not use because he feared, quite rightly, that the allies would respond in kind
