Internally they knew exactly where their ships were, obviously. And immediately after that is when that dipshit started with his armada talk. It's a f**k up. Plain and simple. It's acknowledged as such. The facts are the most damning element. Apparently trump hadn't been updated on any of this for at least a week. Might have been a conflict with a golf game or a taxpayer funded flight to his f**k castle in Florida or something, who knows?

It's gotta be exhausting trying to defend that guy...trying to find some way to spin his misadventures in presidency as "gunboat diplomacy" or some sort of considered and intelligent saber ratting, when in fact the sad truth is he's a f**k child who we can only hope is actually listening to the brass and deferring to them.
