Yeah the only way it was conceivable for Democrats to lose was if they put up somebody as disliked and distrusted as The Donald.
Naturally, that's exactly what they did. Combine that with Clinton's inherent inability to connect with homo sapiens, and her majestically terrible campaign strategy... And here we are.
The simple truth is that guys like Kane and Comrade are exactly why the Democrats are such losers, and why they'll continue to be losers moving forward... Despite this historic opportunity to destroy the GOP as we know it.

Even if Bernie could have won, the rest of the election results were still overwhelmingly Republican. Bernie wouldn't have been able to do anything for most of his first term, similar to how Trump can't get anything done either.
