Yeah, but we were told the same thing. Must have been two dozen major outlets announcing 99% odds for Clinton for weeks leading up the election. Even Nate Silver was calling it 70 something percent for Clinton, and that nerd's asshole never gives a millimeter. If ever there was a thing that could cause voters to throw their hands up in the air, its having pundits smugly assure them that its basically a certainty that Clinton wins, lololol all the way home.
Could be the lens over here is distorting the picture, and French voters on the ground had a more assured view of Le Pen as ridiculousness than we did, given our own ongoing...situation...but after Brexit and Trump...how forgone could it really be?
