It's depressing to see HR McMaster reduced to this.

This is an extremely dangerous situation. The intelligence community will not risk long-established ties, so I would not be surprised if President Trump was cut out of the loop.

On the other hand, this may be damaging enough to end the Five Eyes program, which would be wonderful as far as I'm concerned.

It is pretty stunningly incompetent. Of course the Republicans will do nothing about this.

I think, given the political climate created by Republicans, their attitude towards Trump, and the actions they've taken over the past thirty years... well, the only reasonable conclusion is that the Republican Party is treasonous. Actively hostile towards the United States of America.

Watergate. Iran-Contra. The Iraq War. The money laundering for their political fundraising. Gerrymandering. Trump. At what point are Americans going to realize that at least 30% of their country is actively working to harm the nation through illegality, lies, theft and class warfare? It is almost to the point where I think the Republican Party ought to be viewed as a criminal organization.

We already know what it is, fstar. He told them about an ISIS plot to use laptops as explosives, which Trump more or less confirmed in his Twitter statement. For some reason, Spider didn't provide the rest: "...to terrorism and airline flight safety. Humanitarian reasons, plus I want Russia to greatly step up their fight against ISIS & terrorism."

As for Obama, he is no longer President, and whatever hypocrisy you see is totally and completely irrelevant. Beyond that, the Obama administration secured Russian support for a major treaty as a result of exchanging this information, which amounted to providing serial numbers for any future sales of the Trident missile. Compare that with Trump, he didn't appear to secure anything in exchange for this information, and has likely exposed a source to imminent danger.

As one of the boards only conservatives, it is important that you step up your game, which is currently at a Grade 3 level.
