if i don't care about the social ballast how does that harm me? if they die, what difference does it make? these are the supposed groups you talk about conservatives not care about, what are they going to do if they go away? (by the way, abortion is important here because you can't with a straight face say you support helping the vulnerable because you literally only support helping the moderately vulnerable and you support murdering the most vulnerable, while i support not-murdering anyone --including the most vulnerable --and i support not allowing murder to happen, even if there is a doctor's note involved) yes, we belong to social groups. but if one group is a giant drain on the others? i would call them the selfish label that you are using as an epithet. the best thing they could do for this country would be to kill themselves. of course a lot of trump supporters fit in this bucket, but so do lazy f**k of any political persuasion. they could use some motivation with some mortification
