For the record - the GOP's obstructionism and lack of concern towards the damage being done by Trump is increasingly making me doubt the utility of the GOP. They aren't even being conservative anymore. To my mind they're gambling the future of country for political gain. It's incredible to me that the GOP, even while demanding more money for the military, is ambivalent about him leaking Intel to the Russians while in the White House. If this were Hillary the world would be on fire. And it actually was...over f**k emails.

No, the idea of conservatism balancing contemporary liberalism only works when they're both actually that. I don't know what the f**k to call the GOP today. Garbage?

I don't call it hypocrisy when they're pointing out something definitively worse. You simply cannot equate all of Obama's months in office with Trumps presidency so far. Obama was called a Muslim. It was ridiculous. This...this is real.

Both parties might be bad but one is significantly worse than the other. Enourmously so. I don't even know that it's quantifiable at this point. Suppose Trump is actually found to be giving the Russian's state secrets, still the same? Because he's apparently already done it once.

I just keep wondering what will eventually bury him. I think Mueller is going to move a whole lot faster than many people anticipate and I don't actually thInk he'll be able to contain his findings if something significant comes up.
