also to preempt any other monuments on battlefields...know that my point is made out of patriotism and emotion. Quite frankly i don't give a shit if every other battlefield on earth has a monument to the loser...that shit shouldn't happen in America. I also realise i could have written one post instead of 5, but f**k it life is messy

Take it down. All I see is a traitor (a brave and compassionate one for sure). A plaque would suffice and if he died in battle then fine, his grave should stay as well.
