Lots of others had already joined in the protest before Trump's comments. What you saw yesterday was a ton of guys who weren't protesting before joining in a demonstration to show solidarity with their teammates. It sucks that Trump took it to this because it has obscured the issues that actually sparked the protesting in the first place. But once Trump spoke up their response was the correct one.

If they feel that bad about the oppressed, they should share their fortune with them. Life has winners and losers. Always has, always will. You would think an athlete would be familiar with win / lose. Besides, everyone can't be on a pro ball team, No America means no NFL, NBA, or any sport organization to bitch about America.

trump should be off the coast of puerto rico on an aircraft carrier wearing his Make America Great Again hat pledging to rebuild the island. PR is perfect PR for him, and it's infrastructure. he should be all about it

The flag also represents the concept of freedom of expression. So when you protest it, are you also protesting your own freedom of expression as well?
