What's interesting about that is the direct effect it would have on people's take home pay. All of these proposals, if passed, would I believe net the GOP an incredible amount of political heat after it's being felt. It's forward looking in terms of the tax "benefit" but US citizens are more interested in the "here and now" part. If you suddenly had 6 - 10% of your net paycheck gone....

i do like the cutting of the corporate rate, but i think that needs to be offset by increases in personal income tax rate. reducing the brackets to three is fine and dandy but the third should be 40. or better make it 4 brackets with those making over half a mil at 45%
