Podcast on what went wrong in Kansas. The only upside is that it didn't go down in a ball of flames. It just sucked a lot for people dependent on city/state services (elderly, poor, children utilizing public schools, etc). It got so bad that the members of congress united against Brownback.

Kansas was a failure for multiple reasons but this tax bill is hardly even close to that. 1.4 trillion in deficit spending over 10 years is hardly noticeable given our track record. On top of that, Congress isn't going to let the provisions expire that will increase taxes on the poor. It's just not going to happen.

We are reaching the point the monopoly board is bought up, and trying to figure a way to keep the game going.
