The NAFTA superhighway
basically, expanding interstates 29 and 35
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NAFTA_superhighwaywhat's SPECIAL about this one is that while Ron Paul and several others talked about it violating the soveringty of the united states
http://www.newsweek.com/highway-hell-94645 it was originally proposed in 2002 by then-Texas governor Rick Perry. furthermore it was envisioned to be rather large... "consisting of a 1,200 foot (366 m) wide highway that also carries utilities such as electricity, petroleum, and water, as well as railway track and fiber-optic cables"
anyway, texas has since authorizing it repealed it because apparently it was horrible government with a shadow deep state or something behind it but, what of this idea? a link, straight up the american heartland, mexico to canada, ferrying all sorts of things and people. it might be
a bit crazy to talk about a highway the width of four football fields end to end but thinking about a large robust intercontinental transport system like this would be a great boon for all three nations
