I would still like for liberals to answer one simple question:

What makes you entitled to more than you have earned? What right enables that? And please avoid bringing roads and bridges into this. I'm talking about taking from the rich and giving to the poor simply because they are poor.

There is another dimension here as well: the utility of work.

Also like you know, the rich do not become rich in a bubble purely of the triumpth of their own will. Its entirely possible, nay, plausible that certain obligations should be generated on that path to becoming wealthy to society as a whole. E.g. "I are now the rich, but I couldn't have down it without the little man, ergo taxing mah earnings and propertoirs is teh justified."

But you can deal with my first broadside before we get to that. As i'd rather we start with a decent hierarchy of reasons and explain why simply having wealth entitles you to that wealth.
