His base doesn't even think in those terms. It's like with the tariffs on China. If the soy farmers start getting burned, or the price of shit at Walmart goes up, it's simpy a matter of saying "Look what China is doing to you! America first!" Then come up a with a campaign song with twangy guitars and fiddles and shit that rhymes U-S-A! with Make-Them-Pay! ...and he's f**k golden.

You're giving these people way too much credit, Kane. They seriously have no idea what's even happening. I'm not just saying this. And I don't think I'm being overly reductive...I think as voters they have been effectively sequestered and will think whatever they are told to.
