It's all a trick...instead it's going to be a land invasion. It'll be swift like Belgium during WWII. They'll call it "Blitzroids" because it's going to be like the Blitzkrieg on steroids. US Forces in the northeast will sweep to the west towards Aleppo and Idlib while the Israelis sweep in from the southwest through the Golan heights to take Damascus. Saudi forces will move into the southeast to take up the back.

you see, by explicitly stating you're going to strike, the equipment will just be moved to bases under russian control. the entente would have to attack russia directly. since they won't do that we will bomb empty bases instead, minimizing loss of life
