Not really that so much as she was interning for the most powerful man in the world, who was twice her age, and he quite clearly took advantage of her naivety, trust and star-struck heart.
I don't care that he was after somebody on the side. Cheating doesn't disqualify you for office, nor should it. What should is lying about it to Congress and taking advantage of your office to get young interns to suck your dick. It is perjury on top of serious sexual misconduct.
I don't expect political leaders to be morally flawless, but we can at least have some basic workplace standards. One of them is not dipping your pen in company ink. It is extremely unprofessional to enter into that kind of relationship, literally in the Oval Office.
