Uh huh. But you clearly want to give them a reason to be more enthusiastic about voting. Voter enthusiasm among Dems has far outpaced Repubs thus far. Miller is trying to keep the focus on immigration. He's doing that for a reason. He thinks it won Trump the election. He can invigorate the GOP base to come out and vote by making it an issue of Trump for border patrol and Dems not.

If you don't care about that then you're an idiot and you don't want to win. Go ahead - use the hyperbolic language and get them riled up. It's not about winning them over at all here. I'm surprised this is so hard for you.

Democratic enthusiasm would be a lot higher with a much broader group of people if they actually embraced the grass roots opposition to the disgusting things Trump is doing. But your perspective, unsurprisingly, is that any bold action on the left is scary and all we can do is be as careful as possible not to piss off the right and then pray. It doesn’t work. It keeps not working yet you refuse to see that.

I look at Stephen Miller going to the Mexican restaurant, Kirsten going out for dinner somewhere where she knows she'll be hated, and Sarah going out to the Red Hen as an intentional act. They want the hate. The loathing. They want to display it for everybody. This is classic GOP. They want to play the victim and use that to show them our "true colors."
