Well this thread really took off since last I checked and Kane, Spider and especially Dylan turned it into an absolute travesty. Glad to see exploited and Philly has it under control. exploited's response to Dylan that Philly quoted is epic win.

The hypocrisy of the right on these issues is unparalleled. After fighting for years in defense of a cake shop refusing to serve LGBT customers, completely loosing their shit over a restaurant asking a the Goebbelsian mouth piece for Trump to leave is ludicrous hypocrisy. Demands of "civility" coming from the party literally enabling fascist terrorists is an existential threat. Further hypocrisy when the right wing goons protest the establishment and one of the jackasses literally throws chicken shit at it while yelling MAGA. f**k these people.

I’ll always respect Dylan more than others because he will just straight up admit that the issues people are making a fuss about don’t impact him personally and that’s why he cares more about “civility” in these cases. The exact same is true of Spider, Kane and all the other shitlibs but they try to insist upon some weird moral superiority and “I am a brain genius, trust me” justifications, which is much more pathetic than just being honest.

If half of what Dylan says about himself is true, at least his position is rational. As a wealthy elitist, the obvious instinct is to want to keep the rabblerousing to a minimum. It is bad for business and offends propriety, which is a more important standard than some low-IQ idiot being able to yell at a goddamn Cabinet Minister.

It is romantic in a sense - Dylan was once poor, apparently, and he earned his way to the top. What a treat to finally have the respect and comfort he deserves. Why would you trade that away for the unwashed masses confronting you at dinner?

As for Kane and Spider... who knows? Kane shows promise when he stops getting prideful at least.
