i'm pretty sure they took the name from "AIR FORCE" so as to not make them feel sad about it but its the Navy

or heck just call it US Navy and then the current Navy becomes the US Earth Navy or something. it should be under its own command but it also should be referred to as a Navy: we take spaceships into space.

trump supporters like the military. So MOAR military. There is ZERO need for a new branch for this. Just expand the USAF Space Command as needed. They've already been filling this role since before Apollo.







Why do we need another branch for this? (Realizing of course that the aforementioned trump supporters probably have no idea any of this already exists.)

absolutely not is the current situation appropriate

first of all, they need to use proper ranks, not air force ranks

the concept is not new. it's been brought up for decades and decades. the airforce is frankly the worst branch of the military and should just be absorbed into the other departments: army, navy, and coast gaurd. but space needs its own thing. i mean, it's literally everything except for earth. that's literally a lot of stuff. the only people against it are the air force fags, who know deep down that the AF sucks and they all should be part of different branches or out of jobs entirely

if we need a USSF name it should be United States Star Fleet. but i feel like that is only applicable to our extra solar fleet. just our puddle jumpers are all going to be the backbone of the US Space Navy\

you guys are just against it because Trump announced it, but it's an imperative thing that we must move towards. space is the ultimate high ground and now, more than ever, do we need to put guns there

I'm not against it...I just think it's silly for it to be it's own branch. It would be redundant, needlessly expensive, and frankly pointless. It just sounds cool to those without the foggiest.
