It really makes little sense. How in the f**k is going public about an alleged internal resistance, even anonymously, actually helping the internal resistance? Rhetorical question. Now Trump's already paranoid and maniacal delusions of persecution are going to also be aimed more inwardly to his dumpster fire of an administration. He's already pathological in his instance on unquestioned loyalty, hence the Comey fiasco and Comey's characterization of Trump's machinations as analogous to the mob. Of course there are more sensible persons in the administration working to steer Trump away from plunging straight off of the precipice; saying that they're more sensible than Trump is not saying much at all.
Publishing an anonymous op-en in the NYT about an alleged internal #resistance is about as good a kick in the alleged internal resistance's face as can be imagined. It's also as likely as not that whoever wrote it did so in opposition to the alleged resistance in order to draw attention to it and to precipitate an internal cleansing. I very much doubt that to be the case, but that's it's as likely as anything else just goes to show that the Trump administration is stuffed with complete f**k idiots and maniacs.
