jimmy was stating that judge denied that it happened. nothing that you said in any way refuted what jimmy said

i guess it's good this isn't just a he said she said about somehting that happened when they were children. it's also he said, plus what this other guy said, versus she said. no physical evidence, allegation about something that happened when they were children, and the witness corroborates the accused story.

Kavanaugh is the real victim here, unless there is actual evidence

Oh totally John. This woman did this because she just loves to be raked over the coals like this. Nevermind that she told a couples therapist about it in 2012 and that it was verified by notes taken by the therapist or that her husband recalls the name being mentioned during the session (yes yes, significant other can't be reliably trusted). And Judge's character is totally a non-issue as he definitely didn't write any books about his alcohol fueled days of his later teenage years.

GOP is going to lose tons of female voters with an attitude like this.

Bit of an awkward situation. I'm hesitant to condemn a man for this given the length of time passed and lack of evidence. But this is not a court of law. It is a nomination process and the voters can consider and weight the evidence as they see fit. It seems certain something happened to her. I hope they will evaluate the witnesses' in person credibility and decide on that basis.

I dont fault her for her timing. People arent rational.

Interested to see how it plays out. I hope it does a lot of political damage to Republicans as well.

in fact, the worst thing that supposedly happened was he was drunk as a minor

even if this was true, if he was doing this as an adult we might have something to talk about. but it seems like he hasn't. i'm not saying "boys will be boys", but i am saying that drunk children should not be held to the same standards as sober adults for their behavior. teenage males are driven by their hormones and the worst he did was grope a girl when he was out of control of his own faculties. i mayhaps groped a girl and she didn't necessarily want it. i dunno, i was f**k wasted. girls mayhaps groped me and i didn't necessarily want it. i don't know, i was f**k wasted. i was an idiot child. there are real good reasons why children in our justice system, unless its a heinous crime, are charged as children. one of them is their privacy should be protected, because they are f**k idiots
