I was reading some article which posited that while many in the beltway take Saudi money, they are summarily hated or disliked by DC wonks on a personal level. Once public opinion sways against them, dc establishment will drop them like the bad habit they are.
I’d love to see a follow up from 60 Minutes or Thomas Friedman after they licked MBS’s balls proclaiming he’s a “reformer”.
