Yea the rest of the points I’m fine with but not the English thing. The language of the nation should not be proscribed by law, it should be whatever the hell langauge the citizens prefer. Most places this means English and Spanish.
If you want people to speak English then screen for it before handing out a green card. Fwiw unless you are bringing a very large group who all share the same language (tbf we did this) then language is almost never an issue. That’s one thing the second generation almost always assimilates completely with respect to language.
But at least Galt seems to understand steps must be taken to reassert the legitimacy of our immigration system. We can’t pretend it’s not an issue.
