Not at you and I agree it’s not grounds to deny then. But again no one from the ME should really be claiming asylum here outside of a few cases which probably have merit. See first safe country

Hmmm. Saz, when you take the numbers for the Middle East (plus Iran + Afghanistan which are not considered Middle East, but I think have similar enough repressive religious cultures to be included in the kind of countries you were referring to), you've got 42% of the foreign-born Muslim population. If your contention is that these people are not among the 49% of foreign born Muslims in the US that support gay rights, then to get such a figure for overall foreign born Muslims, the rest of the Muslim immigrants in this country would have to be among the most pro-gay demographics in the US, with numbers that rival the overall American millennial demographic.
