I don't think he can stop it now...it's baked in. Even if he completely reversed course right now some damage has already been done. The most he'd get is a jump in equities and that could fade based on growth prospects.
Also funny - OPEC and Russia cutting oil production is actually to our benefit (even if it increases cost of gas at the pump) because it stokes further development of oil here at home. Trump might not like it but the US should.

With global warming, a cold war would seem impossible for much longer. Humans need a bigger planet to store all the stupidity they create.
