Exploited is right. Look I'm fine with asking for an ID when exercising the right to buy arms, and to exercise the right to vote. This isn't intended to disenfranchise no one. I think s national ID system is the step in the direction we should go here. The feds kind of have implemented it by forcing states to abide by their rules to get the IDs but they should be freely given to all. They are required for getting a job, a bank account, a cell phone, etc so you have one if you are a contributing legal member of society. It's not a big deal

Perhaps the voter/national ID card should have a chip or mag strip on it so it can double as an EBT card. This way we can be sure the most disadvantaged among us will be sure to have theirs at the ready.

I would say sure whatever, but they do have chips in the new ones and I wouldn't want it going through random card skimmers getting a bunch of personally identifying information. So no, I'm not okay with that, for security reasons for the poor bastards that need to use the ebt card
