Eventually, if this keeps blowing up, trump might have to do something to take ownership of it. But right now this seems to be the DoJ doing it's thing over a warrant issued months ago. Canada can just say no. If it comes to an extradition hearing...they can just tell the DoJ wonks to get f**k if they feel like it. They could even release her on bail so she can magically vanish from Vancouver like a cloud of vapor and reappear on the other side of the planet.

My only mention of Trump in relation to Canada's arrest of Meng was that it occurred while Trump was offering a retreat in the trade war with China during G20. As I've correctly pointed out by citing some of the widespread reporting on the arrest, it was undertaken by Canada at the behest of Washington. You're the only one mentioning anything about Canada being stooges.

When the actual facts are brought into the discussion, such as the context of Meng's arrest and the United States' withdraw from the JCPOA, its sanctions on Iran and the international reaction to them, you simply deflect and conjure absurd and blind assertions, groundless aspersions and straw-men. It's not serious and it's not interesting.
