despite a 3million+ advantage over John Kerry, had only a few thousand switched in Ohio from Bush to Kerry, Kerry would have won there. i wish it would have happened just so we'd stop hearing about how the voters didn't chose this blah blah blah
moving to direct election is well and good, but as it stands, by the rules of the game, voters did chose Trump. you're claiming getting more pieces from your opponent in chess makes you win, and reminding us all that hillary took more pieces that didn't matter from Trump and getting angry about it
i liked SNL with trump wishing that he'd never been president, and Clarence granting him a vision of it that like in It's a Wonderful Life, "in this version of history, all hillary had to do to win was visit Wisconsin once". ignoring part of the country is actually what exactly the electoral college is trying to prevent and in that respect it worked beautifully

My life has become a single, ongoing revelation that I haven’t been cynical enough.
