the reason for why the Dems aren't doing it is because of Clinton. they think it'll backfire. gore certainly thought so
the dems SHOULD impeach but the clinton affair is still a solid reason not to do it. it was a harsh lesson learned by Republicans and the current Dem leadership was there to witness it

Senate would never convict anyways. Plus, if trump were booted, he'd enjoy Pence's pardon powers. Best outcome is trump loses his reelection bid, and can't wait out statute of limitations from the WH.
