But again...that was because he chose an untenable situation to begin with. He caved after having to face the reality that he in no way thought this through or had any plan whatsoever and once it was clear that if something truly terrible happened like a plane crash, terrorist attack, food poisoning, cancelled flights, etc. it would’ve been 100x worse for him.
He did this to himself. He let Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh dictate policy. It’s like you’re disappointed Saz. The guy literally has nothing to contribute substantively - he wants “teh win” and relies on subordinates for substance. For planning. And he threw a hissy fit, the Dems called him on it, and now the right is pissed at him. And he only has to look in the mirror for blame.
This was idiotic from the get go. The Dems finally grew a pair and Trump clearly had no idea who he was dealing with. Now he does. That still won’t change anything.
