I appreciate the pragmatic optimism, but your post has simply reaffirmed my conviction on the matter. Partly because you are wrong about certain technical matters (most egregiously that climate change will be a non-issue for developed economies and that we have the technology to insulate ourselves), but also because I don't think you really understand complex logistical issues. Not through any fault of your own, or by lacking intelligence, simply because you've never actually produced anything that doesn't give a single shit about your logic.
Meanwhile, I'm sitting here going over the avian and insect inventories from local farmers (literally the most productive farmers in the world), while trying my hardest not to look at the soil acidity reports so I don't get depressed.
