I don't think he's destroying the country. We are doing a lovely job of that ourselves. I think his low approval rating has a lot to do with the Russia investigation and the reactions it elicited from him.
I disagree with your assessment and believe his general unpopularity, resulting in part from RussiaGate, fueled his inability to effect his agenda.

You're wrong. It cost his approval ratings, both in terms of direct opinions of the controversy (see link) and with respect to his regular twitter outbursts (his twitter use regularly polls very poorly).
