I'm becoming more optimistic about Bernie's chances...but Butti..buttigiefr...whatever...throws out Iowa as an indicator of much of anything. He never had a realistic prayer. Wtf, Iowa? And New Hampshire is Bernie's back yard. Let's see how Bernie does in high population or southern states. With California wisely moving its primary to super tuesday to stave off this destructive "hang in there till California even though it's mathematically impossible to win" strategy, this will resolve a lot sooner this time around, hopefully, one way or the other. Democratic primary process is f**k awful.

primaries should be a rotating field of 10 states every 5 election cycles to get the first primaries, and follow up every two weeks with next slate of states (or could be 4 sets of 12-13 states). this allows candidates to spend their time in the first states for primaries but also doesn't give one state this kind of power. besides, iowa should not have this kind of power as everyone know iowa sucks. iowa has both large farming and huge health insurance industry that kind of warps everything

Buttchug (TM by NAB) comes across like Hillary (to me). He's establishment through and through - his donor base reflects that. While Bernie is out here talking about policies and people Biden is pivoting to electability.

And then you've got Carville talking about Bernie and his supporters like a cult? The establishment still doesn't get it (or they don't want to because it conflicts with their wealthy donor's priorities).

Iowa should do away with the caucus system - I bet participation would actually increase once you're not forced to sit in a barn for three hours.

eh, i think it's good to have states allow people to get a groundswell of support

so with NH, Bernie won, barely. it was a bad showing by him, but he still won. buttigieg came in strong, but i think as he is in more focus people will realize he's a terrible candidate. warren had the worst showing of the night, even though she beat biden. the big winner was klobuchar.

can amy run away with this? i think she's a strong candidate to win the primaries. big money is scared of sanders and will go behind her. the thing is, i again think sanders is the guy that can actually beat Trump.
