You have to consider the "I don't give a shit" factor and the "Its fake!" factor. Both extremely widespread. Look around out there. People drinking at the bars, eating at the restaurants, and swapping DNA at the beach. Back to the usual shitty traffic around here. Was nice for a while...so many fewer cars on the road you could just skate around town. But I sat on the freeway nearly an hour this morning.
I think enough people are done giving a shit. Business as usual...though the hospitality industry will be f**k for a while.
If there's a second outbreak...how many people are just going to shrug their shoulders, wash their hands, and power through it? Mnuchin is probably right. Can't shut down again.
