Also, we need a lot of clarification on the separation of powers, and the consequences when a branch has refused to act or not act with regard to those powers. right now the executive is trying to wipe its ass with the Constitution by using executive action to usurp the legislature. Four years ago they refused to fill a supreme court seat. Congressional subpoenas are being flatly ignored. No punishments. No repercussions. That sort of thing. this all happened without consequence. There was no recourse to do anything about it. There's no other solution than to go at this from a constitutional level.
