Yup, I was clearly wrong when I suggested the federal government doesn't have the right to do this. I stand corrected.
Of course, the nut of my argument still stands. Even if they have the right, doing so doesn't excuse the very real moral implications - namely that you are targeting civilians in order to achieve political goals. Which is terrorism.
I was brave enough to admit that I was wrong. So how about you guys who support the sanctions be brave enough to admit you support terrorism, because that is what it is. The United States does not have the legal right to control technology. Iran has not used nuclear weapons against anybody in the past. No single nation owns the ideas behind nuclear power or nuclear weapons. Therefore, what you are doing is not in "self-defense," and because of that, qualifies as terrorism. So, please, just admit it.
