i can't help myself this year
my coworkers have asked me in the past, "do you even like the wild?"
i have season tickets to the wild and i have complained, constantly. i even complained when we won games because they played like shit and still somehow won. this year I couldn't go and I watched everything on TV....... and they actually played well. they kept the zone. they had physicality and heart. they had some of the dirtiest f**k dangles i've ever seen. they gave me actual hope that we could win. for the first time i have mostly been glowing about the team (we are absolute dogshit in the second because we can't f**k win faceoffs and it causes a cascade of failures when you can't change) i have, for years, been paying thousands of dollars to go watch in person. those other years i was angry. this year? this year i have hope.
and i'm all in.
what could possibly go wrong
